Elementary:
Safety City Demonstrations (K-8th grade)Background on Electric Cooperatives Hands-on activities with children, with explanation of equipment used by service men Hands-on activities to teach children about safety around electricity Demonstration on effects of poor safety habits
A Cooperative Environment (3rd and 4th grade) Slide show presentation with details on various animals in our area Opportunity for children to handle various critters (frogs, lizards, snakes) to gain a further understanding of their environment
Discovery School Channel (5th - 9th grade) Middle School:

Youth Tour (11th graders)Counselors pick juniors to represent each school in WFEC's service area at local Youth Tour competition Representative competes against other students in area for a chance to visit Washington, D.C. with winners from other areas around the country All contestants will participate in a banquet on competition night and visit our state's capitol in Tallahassee, FL
