EZ Pay Power is a prepaid metering program, an innovative method of providing electricity on demand to customers. Prepaid metering has been used for well over a decade, and WFEC has been offering this service to its member owners since 2004. EZ Pay Power offers WFEC members an opportunity to pay in advance for their electricity while offering real time energy usage information to assist members who wish to conserve energy.

Every AMR Meter is equipped to function as a prepaid meter. The prepaid member will be given an in home display to plug in inside their home to assist them in monitoring the amount of power remaining on their prepaid account. This information may also be accessed by contacting a WFEC representative. Prepaid members may purchase electricity in any dollar amount in any of our offices or over the telephone using a credit card, debit card or e-check. The electricity is then loaded onto the meter and the dollar amount will be displayed on the in home display. As the amount decreases to a critical level, an audible alarm signals the member that it's time to purchase more electricity. The deposit for EZ Pay Power is $50. Electricity may be purchased 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in person in our Graceville district office and over the telephone. Power may be purchased at the Sneads and Bonifay district offices during normal business hours. The cost for prepaid electricity is exactly the same as for all WFEC member owners, however prepaid accounts are charged a $5 monthly lease fee for the special equipment required as well as a $2 transaction fee on every purchase.
