  Youth Tour!

What is Youth Tour?

An all-expenses paid trip to Washington, D.C.!
The Youth Tour program teaches students about cooperatives and how our system of government operates. Each year, West Florida Electric Cooperative (WFEC), along with the Florida Electric Cooperative Association (FECA), sponsors a Youth Tour contest for the sons and daughters of WFEC’s member-owners.

Two high school juniors will win an all-expense paid, event-filled week-long trip to the nation’s capitol. The winners are selected from among local high school students who live in WFEC’s service territory. The winners will join 1,500 other Youth Tour winners from around the nation during Youth Week in Washington, D.C.

How Can I Be a Part of It ?

You must be a high school junior and your parents must be members of West Florida Electric. If you're interested, contact your school's guidance counselor for more information or download the forms here. *There is a limit of one participant per high school, so make sure you talk with your counselor before submitting your paperwork to WFEC.*
