Hospital Pound Cake
½ lb. butter
½ cup Crisco®
1 tablespoon vanilla
3 cups sugar
3 cups plus 6 tablespoons Swansdown Cake Flour
1 cup milk
5 eggs
Cream butter & Crisco® really well. Add sugar and cream until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beat each. Add flour & milk alternately, beginning and ending with flour. Bake at 350 degrees for about 2 hours or until done.
