West Florida Electric COVID-19 Response - For the safety of our members, customers and employees during the COVID-19 outbreak, our lobbies will be closed to the public. Drive-thru services remain open at all office locations from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Members can manage their accounts through the WFEC App, online, over the phone or by visiting our drive-thrus. Transfer Your Service

To Transfer Service to a location:

Call, or go by any WFEC location. You will be asked to provide the following: 

  1. Proof of identification, which may include your driver’s license or social security number.
  2. Transfer fee of $35 (cash, personal check, e-check, and credit cards accepted).

If you are currently served by WFEC and would like service to continue at your current location while you move to your new location, we will be happy to provide dual service. You will be asked to provide the following for dual service:

  1. The balance on the current account must be zero.
  2. The member must provide a disconnect date for the current location.
  3. The member must provide a connect date for the new location.
  4. Dual Service is only available for seven (7) calendar days.

Please keep in mind that you will receive a final bill for your current location. This final bill will include energy charges incurred from your previous meter reading date through your scheduled disconnect date. Depending upon the length of time between these two dates the final bill at your original location may be higher than usual due to the extended billing cycle required to accommodate your move.

This process is the same for residential and commercial members.
