Annual Meeting Postponement
West Florida Electric Cooperative's 2021 Annual Meeting/ Member Appreciation Day scheduled for Saturday, April 24, 2021, has been postponed due to health concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
After lengthy discussion and deliberation at the January 26th meeting of the Board of Trustees, the decision was made to postpone the meeting and re-evaluate the feasibility of having it later this year.
Mail Ballot Packets for voting in the annual board election are scheduled to be mailed on Thursday, March 25, 2021. All ballots are due to be received by Carr, Riggs and Ingram, LLC, the certified public accounting firm certifying the election, no later than Wednesday, April 14. Results of the election will be announced via social media, press release and in the Current Light Flashes newsletter.
