When it comes to SEER — the Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio — of your home’s heating and cooling system, the higher the number, the more efficient it runs. And that can mean big savings in energy bills. 38819002
Treat yourself to savings this holiday season and upgrade to a high efficiency air-source, dual-fuel, mini-split or geothermal heat pump!
West Florida Electric Cooperative (WFEC) has got a Christmas gift for you that will make your purchase of a high-efficiency heat pump easier. We’re offering $100-$600 per ton in rebates to homeowners — saving you money in energy costs now and in the future.
To take advantage of this rebate program, your new unit must be sized properly. A Manual J calculation must be performed by a certified licensed HVAC contractor or a WFEC Energy Services Representative. This load calculation is mandatory to participate in this program.
Rebate amounts vary depending on the SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) as mentioned above. SEER is a measurement of how energy efficient your heating and cooling unit is. Here’s a breakdown of the
rebates available:
