It’s time for WFEC’s Annual Meeting/Member Appreciation Day! The board of trustees and employees invite all members to join us at the Graceville Civic Center (5224 Brown Street) on Saturday, April 22. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m., musical entertainment at 9:00 and the business meeting begins at 10:00.
Many activities have been planned for members throughout the day including a health fair with various screenings and health checks. Representatives from Eye Center South will conduct vision exams and
Covenant Hospice will also be on hand to share information about home health, and end of life care. Some of the other activities include electrical safety demonstrations, displays from the Panhandle Pioneer Settlement and more. Children’s activities will also take place throughout the day.
Entertainment for the day will be The Watsons from Cottondale, Florida. They are a six-piece band that sings old Southern Bluegrass Gospel music. John Watson, plays flat top and sings lead. Fred Watson plays lead flat top and sings harmony as well as lead vocals. Judy Cutchins sings harmony while James Fowler plays bass, Mike Sapp plays banjo and Stevie Elam plays mandolin. You can often find members of the band playing at several local Hardee’s restaurants during the week. Don’t miss the co-op’s annual meeting where the results of this year’s trustee election for districts 4 and 5 will be announced. There will also be door prizes, registration gifts and good food to round out the day. We hope to see you there!
