The General Election will be held on November 8, 2016.  The deadline to register to vote or change your vote stickerpolitical party affiliation for this General Election is October 11, 2016 .

Please read your ballot carefully, both front and back as any local nonpartisan races (county judge and school board) will appear after the Supreme Court Justices and Appeals Court Judges and before Constitutional Amendments.

Any eligible and registered voter in Florida may vote by mail. Mail ballots are counted in the State of Florida during every election and are among the first results available at 7:00 p.m. on Election night.  If you choose to Vote by Mail contact your Elections Office to request your ballot.  It is very important when voting by mail that your signature on file in the elections office is up to date.

If you do not vote early or vote by mail, you must vote at your home precinct on Election Day (F.S. 101.62(4)(c)5).  If you are precluded from voting at your home precinct on Election Day due to an emergency, you will be required to sign an affidavit stating the nature of your emergency prior to voting in the elections office on Election Day.  Visit your supervisor of elections’ website to determine where your precinct is.

Please see below for very important dates for the upcoming November 8th General Election:
